The icon of Jesus meeting with the Samaritan woman in Jacob's well, in the Orthodox church in Samaria- Israel, is one of the most popular icons of the Bible; it shows the lovely reletionship that God wants to build between all women.
In this direction this icon it's also the Good News of God for all the women of the planet; women are welcome in God's Kingdom, they are equal to man and in many ways, they are chosen by God.
This icon it's in a way, the witness of God's love for all women, God's special relation with women's life and spiritual sphere. For God every girl and every woman is worthy of God; He wants to reveal Himself to every woman of the Earth.
The Apostles in the background look surprised of jesus talking with a woman, something unusual in 2000 years ago in a man only Bible study society. With this event God wanted to teach to every man, that also women are worthy of God and times where changing for humanity.
God has included women in His beautyful plan for mankind, and Jesus with this simple act, wants to teach every man and each and everyone of us today, the great call every woman has in the world, in our society and in our churches.
